Are you considering starting a new nonprofit organization? this two-part course will explain what is a “public benefit corporation”, the application for tax exempt status, and the roles, duties and responsibilities of nonprofit board members.

Charitable organizations must engage in a broad array of fundraising tactics to secure their annual revenue, observe a strict code of ethical practices, and report the results of its programs and services as public benefits delivered back to its community. This two-part workshop will cover these and more.

Instructor Jim Greenfield is an author of several books on nonprofit management and fundraising and is a certified SCORE Mentor.
