Description:

Business grants are a sum of money that is awarded to a business without requiring the business to pay them back. There are many types of small business grants available for different types of business owners and for different purposes. If you have finalized your business start-up or growth plan you may be interested in fundraising capital that don’t have to be repaid. However, with so many types of grants out there it can take a lot of time and effort with very little return if you don’t know how to navigate the landscape. Though there is no guarantee of being awarded these funds, understanding which grants to apply for and what the best way to tell your story will give you the best chance in the application process.

This workshop outline is broken into 3 primary lessons:

  1. How we go about looking for grants.
  2. Must-haves for being successful when applying for a grant.
  3. Go-to websites for grant opportunities.
