The workshop is a hands-on training where the workshop facilitator will answer questions and go through scenarios that are brought up by attendees and other workshops that are known to trouble existing QuickBooks owners. *Sales Information: Cash Sales, Sales on Credit (Accounts Receivable), sales accepting credit cards, progress billing, and % completion billing. *Preparing and using billing statements, crediting collection letters, and tracking backorders. *Price Levels & Discounts: How to set up discount tables by Customer or product type, and how to override standard discounts when invoicing. *Sales Taxes: Setting up tables by selling location, how to track and report sales tax, and paying sales tax. *Estimates: Preparing estimates, maintaining estimates files, and converting an estimate into an order. *Purchased Inventory: Item tables preparing and maintaining, inventory grouping, ordering inventory, and receiving inventory. Entering vendor invoices for inventory, manual adjustments to inventory, setting default mark-ups, units of measure, using units of measure when selling packages and combinations.
