The Department of Veterans Affairs spends over $17 billion annually. The mission of the Department of Veterans Affairs is one of service to more than 27 million veterans who have served their country. To accomplish this mission, a broad range of products and services are required by a nationwide system of hospitals, clinics, Veterans Integrated Service Networks (VISN), data processing centers, and National Cemeteries. The VA Great Lakes Health Care System, a group of seven VA medical centers and over thirty VA clinics, is dedicated to providing a comprehensive health care package to America's veterans. VA Great Lakes Health Care System serves veterans who reside in northwestern Indiana, northern Illinois, Wisconsin, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We will also be welcoming representatives from the contracting office of the 128th ARW, MMSD, and EPA. This conference is a great opportunity for veteran owned firms, large firms looking for veteran owned business partners, small, woman, disadvantaged, and HUBZone firms to learn about the Department of Veterans Affairs procurement process, upcoming opportunities, meet with VA staff, and network with area businesses.
