Event description

Learn the differences between copyrights, trademarks, patents, and trade secrets, and discover the resources available through the Smithtown Library's Patent and Trademark Resource Center (PTRC) and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Participants will also receive a hands-on introduction to creating a USPTO account, searching patent and trademark databases, beginning the application process, and locating a registered patent attorney.
