The rollout of the Affordable Care Act culminated on January 1, 2014, but many businesses are still coming to terms with how this complex law affects them. This presentation will try to de-mystify the ACA by exploring the answers to the key questions every small business should be asking, and by providing participants an opportunity to ask their own questions during a Q&A session. The following topics will be covered: I. What are the coverage options for small businesses? – Including a discussion of coverage through the SHOP exchange, small business tax credits and grandfathered plans. II. What does ACA-compliant coverage look like? – Including a discussion of essential health benefits, cost-sharing limitations and other coverage requirements. III. What other provisions may impact your business? – Including notice requirements, wellness programs and reporting obligations. IV. What questions should I be asking? Q&A Session.
