Eric Ness

Eric Ness is the director for the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Wisconsin District Office, one of 68 SBA field offices nationally.  He is responsible for the delivery of SBA programs and services throughout the Badger State, helping small businesses start, grow, expand, and recover from adversity.  Ness began his SBA career in 1990 as a commercial loan officer, working on both processing and liquidation of loans. He has served as finance chief and assistant district director for economic development.

MILWAUKEE  - The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Wisconsin office is recognizing 16 lenders in 15 volume and specialty categories for FY2020 ending Sept. 30, 2020.  Community-based lenders continued their strong support of SBA programs as the top lenders in seven asset categories under $5 billion.  WBD, Inc., one of two SBA 504 program lenders in Wisconsin made 220 loans for more than $183 million, increasing the dollar amount of its lending over FY19 by 63%. Four lenders each made nine loans as 504 program participations for a total of nearly $40 million.  U.S.
