Columbus – The 2018 Ohio Business Matchmaker, the largest small business to government contracting event in the state, expects more than 500 small business owners and buyers at this year’s event. Participating buyers represent city, county, state and federal agencies, as well as large contractors combined with budgets representing billions of dollars available for small businesses.

WHY: The Ohio Business Matchmaker helps government buyers and large contractors connect to hundreds of MBE/EDGE-certified, Minority-Owned, Women-Owned, Veteran-Owned, 8(a) and HUBZone businesses. Through opportunities like the Ohio Business Matchmaker, small businesses are empowered to expand. In turn, these small businesses are able to create jobs, which contributes to healthy local communities and economies, positively impacting people who live, work and raise a family in these areas.
