MONACA, Pa. – Area entrepreneurs interested in increasing their bottom line should join the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and local economic development experts for a free Growth Strategies for Success workshop, March 10.

The seminar, held at the Penn State Beaver Campus, begins at 8:00 a.m. and concludes at noon.

“This free forum is a must for that small business owner wanting to take their business to the next level,” said SBA Western Pennsylvania Deputy District Director Regina Puzausky. “Attendees will leave with important takeaways they can immediately begin implementing in their day-to-day operations.”

Puzausky and her SBA team, along with members from Pittsburgh SCORE and the Penn State Beaver Valley Launchbox, will discuss business expansion concepts during the workshop.

“We’ll explain the importance of strategic planning and the best social media practices,” Puzausky, said. “We will also discuss how to access financing to expand a business and introduce contracting as a way to grow an existing business.”

Small business owners can register by contacting the SBA Western Pennsylvania District Office at 412-395-6560. The free forum is at the Student Union Building, (SUB), 100 University Drive, Monaca, PA  15061. Following the workshop, the SBA staff and speakers will be available for one-on-one meetings with attendees.
