SAM logoThe Small Business Administration’s Vermont District Office and Western Pennsylvania District Office are co-hosting a webinar about the System For Award Management at 11 a.m. Feb. 25.

SAM is a centralized government website used by small businesses and non-profit organizations to apply for and obtain federal government contracts and grants, such as the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant.

Webinar topics include:
- SAM overview
- D-U-N-S Number, Taxpayer Identification Number, North American Industry Classification codes and other information needed before setting up a SAM account  
- Registering, navigating and understanding SAM

The webinar will be led by David Pinkosky, an SBA Business Opportunity Specialist with the Western Pennsylvania District Office.
