Joshua Stutzman is the Assistant District Director for the 8(a) Business Development Division of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s South Florida District Office. The South Florida District serves more than 1 million small businesses in 24 counties south of Orlando, Florida. In this role, Joshua ensures small business owners who are socially and economically disadvantaged are aware of the various SBA certification programs and services designed to help them succeed in the federal marketplace.
Joshua has over six years of federal government service. Before coming to the SBA, Joshua worked as a Quality Assurance Program Coordinator and Contract Specialist/Procurement Analyst with the Department of Defense at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida. He attended the Defense Acquisition University and achieved his Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level II Contracting certification and Level I certification in Program Management.
Prior to his federal civilian service, Joshua worked in the business/sales field and office management for over 12 combined years spanning both Cincinnati, Ohio and Miami, Florida. He also served over 14 years in the U.S. Army as a Senior Combat Medic and a Health Systems Services Manager. Upon moving to Florida, Joshua transitioned into the Army Reserves where he continues to serve his Country.
Joshua Stutzman is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. He has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati and received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Thomas More College in northern Kentucky.
