David Polatin, Deputy District Director

David L. Polatin

David Polatin was appointed to the position of Deputy District Director on June 26th, and has been with the U.S. Small Business Administration for over 20 years. Most recently, Mr. Polatin served as Assistant District Director for Business Opportunity where he was responsible for marketing and outreach activities for government contracting in Massachusetts. This includes the 8(a) Business Development Program, the HUBZone Program, the Women’s Small Business Program, and the self-certifications available. His other duties include E200 Program Manager and economic development. In the past David has served as Contracting Officer for the 8(a) Business Development Program and the Facilitator for the One Stop Capital Shop in Roxbury.

He holds a BA from Boston University, Masters in Education from Boston State College, and an MBA from Boston University.
