About Us
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is the only cabinet-level federal agency fully dedicated to small business. Since SBA's creation in 1953, millions of entrepreneurs have used SBA resources and programs to start and grow their businesses and to effectively compete in the marketplace. By expanding access to capital, federal contracts, counseling, and entrepreneurial education, the SBA provides small business owners with the tools they need to start, grow, expand, or recover their businesses.
