About Us
Since SBA’s creation in 1953, millions of entrepreneurs have used SBA resources and programs to start and grow their business and to effectively compete in the marketplace. By expanding access to capital, federal contracts, counseling and entrepreneurial education, the SBA gives small business owners the tools they need to grow and create jobs.
Services Available
The North Dakota District Office, together with our network of public and private resource partners, is dedicated to assisting the small business community in the State of North Dakota. The following briefly describes the services and information available through the North Dakota District Office:
- Financial assistance for new and existing businesses through guaranteed loans made by area bank and non-bank lenders.
- Free mentoring and information on starting, operating, or expanding a small business through SCORE Mentors, the ND Small Business Development Centers, the ND Women's Business Center, and the Veterans Business Outreach Center of the Dakotas.
- Business assistance programs and webinars and workshops helping small businesses gain access to federal contracts.
How to Contact Us
The North Dakota District Office is located in downtown Fargo in the New Federal Building and Post Office at 657 2nd Avenue North, Room 360. Ninety minute parking is available on either side of the building, as well as metered parking in nearby lots.
