Everett M. Woodel Jr., District Director

Everett M. Woodel Jr. serves as the district director for the U.S. Small Business Administration's Columbus District Office, overseeing the delivery of the agency's financial assistance, technical assistance and government contracting activities to customers and stakeholders throughout Ohio.

Woodel joins the SBA after serving as the Ohio regional director VEIC, a sustainable energy company based in Vermont. Prior to VEIC, he worked for the State of Ohio as the director of public affairs and financial literacy and as the director of operations. Additionally, Woodel worked for the U.S. House of Representatives in various senior-level positions, including district director.

Woodel was named to the Association of Ohio Commodores in June 2019. The association recognizes those who are dedicated to Ohio's advancement in all areas contributing to the economic growth & development of the state. He holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Bowling Green State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Ohio University. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army.
