West Virginia District Office Trainings

SBA's 504 loan program is a powerful economic development tool offering a viable option for lenders looking for a competitive edge in small business financing.

It offers:

  • a 50 percent loan to value ratio for lenders - putting the lender in first lien position
  • longer loan amortizations
  • 90 percent financing for small businesses
  • long-term, fixed-rate, subordinate financing for acquisition and/or renovation of capital assets including land, buildings and equipment and can also help you meet your community development or public policy goals.

Recent enacted legislation has reinstated the debt refinance established by the Jobs Act of 2010. This webinar also covers criteria under which the debt refinance program can be instituted.

Join Regional Development Funding Corporation's Rebecca MacBlane and Business Finance Group's Beth Wilson as they lead a discussion on the Grow (504) loan program.

Lenders are required to report the status of their SBA guaranteed loans through Colson Services monthly via SBA Form 1502. During this webinar, Victor Cruz from Colson Services, provides a complete overview of the 1502 reporting process in addition to recommendations for best reporting practices. He will also touch on Colson's 1502 Dashboard which affords lenders a platform to monitor their 1502 reporting performance in regards to reported/unreported loan status and generated lender exception messages/error conditions. The 1502 Dashboard allows lenders to edit data reported during the current reporting cycle to help alleviate exception error conditions for successful loan status updates to SBA.

PARRiS/SMART are composite lender risk scoring frameworks which measure the risk of a lender's performance, asset management, regulatory compliance, risk management, and special/technical items. The goals of the frameworks are to identify the underperforming lenders in order to assist SBA OCRM in resource allocation and help lenders identify areas to improve and understand their target ranges and metrics on which SBA scores their performance. This webinar is being led by Adrianna Rockford from Dun & Bradstreet.
