Amy Lea is the U.S. Small Business Administration District Director for Wyoming. In this role, she strives to connect the Wyoming small business community with the Agency’s access to capital, counseling and training, and government contracting tools and resources. She is responsible for the implementation and oversight of all SBA programs in the state.
Previously, she served as the Wyoming Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) Program Manager; the SBA Senior Area Manager in Juneau, Alaska; and worked for the Wyoming Women’s Business Center. She is certified as an Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP) by the National Development Council; achieved a Certified Contracting Assistance Specialist (CCAS) through the Association of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers; and holds a B.S. in biological sciences from Cornell University. She lives in Casper and Thermopolis with her husband, Tom and their daughter, Karina.
