Amy Lea, District Director

Amy Lea

Amy Lea is the U.S. Small Business Administration District Director for Wyoming. In this role, she helps Wyoming small businesses start, grow and expand by connecting them with the Agency’s funding, counseling and training, and government contracting programs and resources. She is responsible for the implementation and oversight of all SBA programs in the state.

She previously served as the Wyoming Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) Program Manager; the SBA Senior Area Manager in Juneau, Alaska; and worked for the Wyoming Women’s Business Center. She also holds a B.S. in biological sciences from Cornell University. She lives in Casper and Thermopolis with her husband Tom and their daughter Karina, and is currently learning to figure skate, much to the amusement of anyone else who happens to be on the ice at the same time.
