EDMIS is a centralized web-based reporting system that allows ED program offices, SBA resource partners (Small Business Development Centers, SCORE, Women’s Business Centers and Veterans’ Business Outreach Centers) and the agency’s field offices the ability to key in or upload information on training and counseling activity. Resource partners and SBA field offices gather key information on customers using SBA Forms 641 and 888. The captured EDMIS data is the repository for client activity data and is used to ensure effective management of ED programs, as well as provide sound statistical reports for the Office of Management and Budget and Congress.
