Houndstooth House, LLC 2023 South Dakota Small Business Persons of the Year

Founded by Denise Cotter and Michelle Marino in 2005, Houndstooth House, LLC provides a wide variety of design services from inspiration to installation for residential and commercial clients. Denise and Michelle started with residential jobs for people they knew personally and soon developed relationships with contractors and vendors transforming spaces in Sioux Falls, surrounding areas and across the country. Houndstooth House has received two SBA 504 loans to purchase new buildings and add retail space. Currently, the Houndstooth House team has grown to four full-time employees and four part-time employees and is working on 51 projects involving new builds, residential updates and remodels and commercial buildings.
