Series of five workshops with intensive learning, networking, and hands-on activities to transform your business concept, ideas, or side-hustle and ignite your entrepreneurial journey. (No Class on Saturday, July 6th due to holiday) Who should attend? HISBDC’s Jumpstart Saturday program offers Hawai’i small business owners dedicated time to strategically plan and work on their business. Each week breaks down what can seem overwhelming to the busy entrepreneur into actionable steps. The weekly meetings provide an accountability forum for fellow business owners. They gain insight, knowledge, and resources for their business. It is designed for business owners who are busy preparing and launching their business and need to build a solid foundation of business management understanding. Ideal participants are committed to attending every week and completing the tasks in between each session. This program requires focused effort for five intensive weeks to break through challenges that the business owner faces to realize their business's full potential. Business owners who can relate the any of the situations below will gain the most from the HISBDC Jumpstart Your Small Business program. • Pre-venture owners in the preliminary stages of concept or business plan development and eager to learn how to start your business. • Nascent business owners (less than years in business) who started marketing your service on a small scale or as a side hustle and now want to take your efforts to the next level such as find the right market niche, expand your client base, and earn a full-time income. • Emerging business owners who have been actively operating their small service business for a few years without a business plan, limited business financial literacy, need to pivot for changing conditions, or want capital to grow their business. What will participants gain? These workshops take a deeper dive into the key fundamentals covered in HISBDC’s webinars on How to Start a Business in Hawaii and How to Write a Business Plan. Participants will gain business knowledge, skills, and confidence to turn their business dreams into reality.
