Elizabeth Habib serves as the Assistant Administrator of SBA's Office of Women’s Business Ownership. A seasoned leader with a distinguished career in broadcasting and journalism, entrepreneurship, academia, and real estate, she brings decades of experience to SBA’s mission of empowering women entrepreneurs.

Habib is the founder and CEO of Consortium of Wealth Communications Specialists, LLC, where she delivered strategic communications and real estate investment consulting to high-net-worth clients in the small business sector. She also served as a principal with MPI Family Office, where she led communications for a portfolio of 7,000 real estate units and played a key role in investor relations and the development of a proprietary wealth technology platform.

Before transitioning to entrepreneurship, Habib spent decades behind the anchor desk and in the field covering major news events. An Emmy-winning broadcast journalist, Habib was the first female weekday sports anchor at the FOX-owned station in Los Angeles. Her reporting and anchoring were also spotlighted on major platforms, including Fox News, FOX Sports, CNN, NBC, and NewsNation.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Habib has held faculty appointments at two of the nation’s most prestigious journalism programs: the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.

She is also a nationally recognized podcaster and verified social media influencer, holding a BA from the University of Pittsburgh
