Katherine Morgan serves as Deputy Associate Administrator for SBA's Office of Field Operations. In this role, she supports the nationwide delivery of SBA programs and services that help small businesses start, grow, and thrive.

Prior to joining SBA, Ms. Morgan held senior leadership roles in marketing and leadership within the real estate and homebuilding sectors, with key positions at the Home Builders Associations of Spokane and Greater Kansas City. She contributed significantly to education through advancement work for schools in the Diocese of Spokane, an adjunct marketing instructor at Gonzaga University, and through service on advisory boards for higher education institutions.

She served as President and CEO of the Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce, advancing its vision as the unifying force for community vitality and economic prosperity. Her landmark achievement was launching the "BIG 5 for the Greater Spokane Valley," a strategic agenda that shaped the Chamber's priorities and impact for years.

She later served as Senior Vice President and Market Executive (Spokane/Boise) for Bank of America's Local Markets Organization, driving growth, community partnerships, and philanthropy. In this role, she directed more than $3 million in investments to strengthen local communities while connecting businesses, families, and individuals to essential banking and investment resources.

A passionate advocate for small business success and the American Dream, Ms. Morgan maintains a steadfast commitment to supporting military families. She served as Honorary Commander at Fairchild Air Force Base, as a national Civic Leader for Air Mobility Command, and most recently was named Emeritus at Fairchild Air Force Base.

Ms. Morgan is a proud graduate of Gonzaga University, where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration, and was honored as Outstanding MBA Student of the Year. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Leadership Studies at Gonzaga University.
