Event description
Most small business owners already have processes — they just aren’t written down.
This practical, hands-on workshop will show business owners how to create simple Standard Operating Procedures, or SOPs, that employees can actually understand and follow. No corporate binders. No overcomplicated templates. Just clear steps for documenting the way your business gets things done.
Participants will learn how to identify the right processes to document first, write a simple one-page SOP, avoid common mistakes, and roll SOPs out to employees without overwhelming the team. We’ll also briefly look at other software options that can help document web-based tasks, screenshots, videos, and repeatable workflows.
This session is designed for small business owners who want to reduce mistakes, train employees more consistently, delegate more effectively, and stop answering the same questions over and over.
Participants will leave with a simple SOP template and a plan for creating their first few SOPs inside their business.
