HVAC Units Replacement in 3 dormitories

The only Bids that will be considered will be from vendors who attend the mandatory bid conference on the day and time specified above.

- 18 Units total, 9 on MLK and 9 on RFK Heating and cooling is provided by pad-mounted gas-fired packaged HVAC units. Wings A, B, C, and D are served by two packaged units each, manufactured by Bryant (model 577DNWA360890AATP, 90 MBH input, 58.5 MBH output capacity, built 07/2010, Energy Star rated). The Lounge area is served by a separate pad-mounted packaged HVAC unit with the similar capacity, manufactured by Bryant

- 2 Condensing units at LBJ unit number 5 and number 2 Cooling is provided by eight vertical up-flow gas-fired furnaces with DX-coils, matched to air cooled condensing units. The condensing units are manufactured by Bryant (models 561CP030-A and 561CP060-H, cooling capacities ranging from 2-1/2-ton to 5-ton, R-22, built 10/200).

- Replace units with new 12.5 SEER packaged units utilizing non-R22 refrigerants (e.g., R-410A or R-454B). The scope includes installing while reusing the existing electrical disconnects, ductwork, and thermostat wiring.

- All units at 1094 and 1095 are to be left at maintenance building post install to be disassembled for parts as well as any recovered refrigerant shall be labeled and given to maintenance for use elsewhere
