Description

CWRWS, through its Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), RSCI, hereby requests that Major Treatment Process Equipment Suppliers submit statement of prequalification applications pursuant to applicable Wyoming alternate design and construction delivery procurement requirements (Wyoming Statute 16-6-707) for CMAR projects, including but not limited to Minority Business Enterprise, Women Business Enterprise, Veteran Business Enterprise, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise firms. This is a Water Treatment Plant Disinfection Improvements Project undertaken by CWRWS. Ozone system improvements may include the replacement of the existing ozone generators and cooling system, nitrogen feed system, and other ancillary equipment to ensure adequate virus and giardia inactivation on both groundwater and surface water sources. UV system improvements may include installation of UV reactors to ensure adequate giardia and cryptosporidium inactivation on both groundwater and surface water sources.
Major Treatment Process Equipment Suppliers will be responsible to provide preconstruction services including but not limited to early design assistance, participation in regular design meetings, and early development of a complete submittal package with all necessary engineering. Upon completion of the design and full approval and funding of the project, then equipment orders will be released to proceed with fabrication and delivery. After the equipment is installed, Suppliers will be responsible for complete startup, participation in detailed commissioning of equipment and unit processes, along with any corresponding performance testing and issuance of warranties.
This project is being funded, in part or in whole, by the SRF program and “Use of American Iron and Steel” requirements as contained in Section 436 of H.R. 3547, The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2014, and as updated and revised in America’s Water Infrastructure Act of 2018 (AIS) apply to the contract.
Davis Bacon wages (29 CFR 5.5) will be required to be paid to any laborer or materialman performing construction work for this contract and/or as a part of a subcontract.
