Issuance of SOP 50 10 5(I)

The SBA has issued SOP 50 10 5(I), Lender and Development Company Loan Programs, which is effective January 1, 2017. The primary purpose for the revised SOP is to streamline the procedures for determining size eligibility based on affiliation for franchised businesses. The SBA is also updating the SOP to incorporate recent changes in the Small Business Act (15 USC §636) regarding fee relief on certain loans to veteran-owned small businesses and certain requirements for credit not elsewhere available for borrowers.
