Online Workshop
Learn about what addiction is and isn't, how it happens, signs and symptoms of use, stigma and acceptable language, and what to do in a suspected overdose. This workshop will also review employers' responsibility for people with SUD under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Presenter Mary Drew was the 2009-2011 Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration’s Center for Substance Abuse Prevention, Prevention Fellow for NH assigned to the NH Bureau of Drug & Alcohol Services, and was an Internationally Certified Prevention Specialist for 12 years. Mary holds an MS in Community & Counseling Psychology, and an MEd in Counseling Education. She is a trainer for Prime for Life, CCAR Recovery Coach Academy, and SAMHSA’s Substance Abuse Prevention Training Skills and Prevention Ethics.
