Join us at the Are You Lender Ready Series, a comprehensive three-part event in partnership with the Alabama District Office designed to help you prepare financially and connect with potential small business lenders. This program consists of an introductory workshop to walk you through the documents needed when applying for a small business loan, followed by a forum where you will participate in panel sessions with traditional and alternative lenders. This session will help you learn about their loan programs, and what they look for in the ideal business borrower. Lastly, the forum will end with a lender matchmaking session, where you can gain critical insights, practical tips, and valuable connections to take your business to the next level.

Part 1 Are you Lender Ready – Workshop (2.5 hours)

Time: 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm CT
Target Audience: Startups or Established Businesses (2+ years)
This first event is designed to prepare you for speaking with a lender at the matchmaker event on June 3 and beyond. We will go over how business and personal credit affects your loan application, all of the documents and financials you will need, and how those documents help lenders make approval decisions. Lastly, we will work on how you can “pitch” your business to a lender. As a participant you will have three workshop dates and times to choose to attend, the last one will be in person and same day as the Lender Panel.
