Event description

Boring? Puzzling? Annoying? These are all hallmarks of terrible talks and speeches. If your presentation can't keep your audience engaged and concisely communicate your point, why give it?

If you care about your audience; if you want to get invited back; if you want to get additional speaking engagements - you need to hit every presentation out of the park.

I’ll help you give a great talk and (hilariously) demonstrate what makes a bad one. I’ll also help you avoid the latter! And help you answer questions like:

  • Why are speeches like sheep?
  • What is the rule of three and why is it useful?
  • How can you NOT bore your audience?
  • What bit of "usual" speaker advice are you better off ignoring?

Presenter: Bobbie Carlton, Carlton PR Marketing and Innovation Women
