Powering Rural - Rochester

Come join us for an exciting event focused on rural empowerment at the Fulton County Library. This event will bring together experts, community leaders, and entrepreneurs to discuss innovative solutions to strengthen the economic outlook of Indiana's small town Main Streets and rural communities.

Powering Rural is chance for stakeholders, entrepreneurs, and economic development organizations to come together and discuss how they can work together catalyzing community and regional small business growth. Participating small business & economic experts and resources include:

About the SBA Indiana/USDA- Powering Rural Tour

The Powering Rural Heartland Tour is a collaborative commitment between the SBA Indiana District Office and USDA Indiana Rural Development Business & Cooperative Programs along with their state and local small business resource networks bringing tools, assistance, and training information to rural communities. Future tour stops include Kokomo, Terre Haute and Union City. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by the SBA and USDA last November solidified a nation-wide partnership bringing critical resources to rural small businesses helping them become forceful competitors in domestic and international markets.
