No cost webinar. Register All entrepreneurs are welcome to participate in UHV SBDC’s training programs. Learn about growing your woman owned business through federal contracting. Content will cover program eligibility criteria, benefits, application prerequisites and process. The federal government's goal is to award at least 5% of all federal contracting dollars to women-owned small businesses each year. We’ll discuss certification process. Learn the goods and services in specific industries (identified via NAICS code) where Women-Owned Small Business (WOSBs) economically disadvantaged women-owned small businesses (EDWOSBs) are eligible for set asides. Joining the WOSB Federal Contract program makes a business eligible to compete for federal contracts reserved for the program's certified participants. WOSB and EDWOSB certification benefits only apply to federal contracting opportunities. The Texas South-West SBDC's have partnered together with our SCORE Chapters in Texas to bring you expert content to help your small business grow and succeed.
