Event description
Part of the Winning Contracts, Growing Small Business Series
No cost webinar. Register All entrepreneurs are welcome to participate in UHV SBDC’s training programs. Learn about growing your veteran owned business through federal contracting. Content will cover program eligibility criteria, benefits, application prerequisites and process. Every year, the federal government award at least 5% of all federal contracting dollars specifically to businesses owned by veteran-owned small businesses (VOSBs) and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSBs) each year. Learn about certification with SBA that allows service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSBs) to compete for federal sole-source and set-aside contracts across the federal government. Certified veteran-owned small businesses (VOSBs) have additional opportunities to pursue sole-source and set-aside contracts at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) under the VA’s Vets First program. The Texas South-West SBDC's have partnered together with our SCORE Chapters in Texas to bring you expert content to help your small business grow and succeed.
