Event description
Federal agencies allocate substantial funds annually to procure a wide array of goods and services essential for their operations, ranging from office supplies to advanced weaponry.
However, these agencies retain the authority to terminate contracts prematurely, particularly when there are shifts in spending priorities, evolving needs, or issues related to contractor performance. In fiscal year 2024, federal agencies reported nearly 40,000 contract terminations, according to the Federal Procurement Data System.
Given the current climate of federal contracting, it is increasingly important for contractors to be informed about their entitlements and the potential avenues for recourse. This webinar will delve into topics such as stop work orders, contract terminations, commercial contracts and Requests for Equitable Adjustment (REA).
