Event description

Navigating California's tax and employment regulations can be complex. This training simplifies compliance with the Franchise Tax Board (FTB), Employment Development Department (EDD), and California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA).

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:

  • FTB: Business owners being in compliance with FTB.
  • EDD: Basic State Payroll Tax.
  • CDTFA: Registering with the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration.
  • SBDC: services for small business owners.

This essential guide helps California business owners, founders, accountants, and payroll professionals confidently manage state tax and employment obligations, minimizing risks and ensuring compliance.

We are a Federal Building and require a valid Real-ID or Passport to enter the building and you will go through a screening process like the airport.

All SBA programs and services are extended to the public on a nondiscriminatory basis. Reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities and/or limited English proficiency will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance. To request accommodation or language assistance, please contact the Sacramento District Office to discuss your needs.
