September is Disaster Preparedness Month, so now is a good time to prepare your Ohio small business! 

During this virtual meeting, we will go over how you can prepare and make your business more resilient, what the process is for disaster declarations in Ohio, discuss the kinds of resources that may become available in the event of a disaster, and answer any questions you may have.  

  1. What can and should small businesses do today to prepare for a disaster?
  2. When a disaster occurs, how does government respond?  
    What is the process for a “disaster declaration?” 
    Are there different kinds of declarations, and why does that matter for small businesses?
  3. In the aftermath of a disaster, how should small businesses find resources, and what resources should they expect to find?

We will have representatives from local, state, and federal disaster response offices, who will provide advice and guidance for your small business.
