Webinar Wednesday: Economist to discuss effect of tariffs on local industry employment

On this week’s free webinar, host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will be joined by economist Mark Evans, emeritus professor from CSUB. Dr. Evans will provide an update on tariffs and the macroeconomy. He will also take a look at local repercussions by providing an industry breakdown of Kern County’s employment changes over the past year.   

Bearden will begin the webinar with a variety of strategies for small businesses facing general economic challenges. 

Questions from attendees will be taken.
