Join our free hands-on and in-person workshop designed to guide you through the application process for:
DGS Small Business (SB) & Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) Certifications.

Please bring your laptops!
Attendee instructions:
Participants will need to bring/have available electronic (either on a USB or on their laptop) copies of the following for the event to get certified:
- Laptop (NO Ipads and Cellphones as they are usually too small for the process).
- Internal Revenue letter issuing Employer Identification Number (EIN).
- Federal (not state) tax returns for the last three years (or for the period your business has been operational if less than three)
- If your company is a sole proprietorship, bring personal Federal tax returns for the last three years.
- California Employment Development Department Forms DE-9C records for the four most recent quarters.
- Licenses (if applicable), such as Business License, CSLB License, Resellers Permit, etc.
- Legal Entity Documents:
- Sole Proprietorship/Partnership:
- Fictitious Business Name Statement
- Partnership Agreement (if applicable)
- LLC:
- Articles of Organization
- Statement of Information
- Operating Agreement
- Corporation:
- Articles of Incorporation
- Statement of Information
- Corporate Bylaws and amendments
- Most recent copy of Corporate Meetings Minutes showing election of officers
