FULL SERIES - ALL FOUR SESSIONS
Session 1: 9/16/2025: 9:00am-11:00am “Start-up: Governance & Business Development”
Successful businesses begin with a great idea for providing products or services that others need or want. But a great idea alone will not suffice to maintain success long-term; deliberate thought about organizational structure, long-term succession planning, and a realistic strategy for marketing constitute the critical foundation for building a legacy company. This training session discusses the essential building blocks for starting a business and finding customers.
Session 2: 9/18/2025: 9:00am-11:00am “Strategic Planning & Key Performance Indicators”
With few exceptions, running a successful business is nearly impossible without some sense of identity, a plan for future growth or/stability, and some method for verifying success or failure. Many failed businesses learned far too late that the health and longevity of a company cannot be measured by watching a bank account or relying on a magnetic personality. This training session outlines the basics of developing an organizational identity, laying out a plan for business management, and tracking indicators that provide the answers for necessary course corrections.
Session 3: 9/23/2025: 9:00am-11:00am “Human Capital & Succession Planning”
Business leaders understand that great people are at the core of every great organization. However, finding the very best employees requires skills, training, and a highly developed sense of who people really are. Once onboard, it’s central to the company’s legacy, that those individuals are retained through proactive employee development programs with a keen focus on job satisfaction, leadership growth, appropriate HR management, and effective succession planning. This training session covers recruiting and interviewing skills, essential employment law, as well as the use of personality profile tools to anticipate candidate preferences and behaviors.
Session 4: 9/25/2025: 9:00am-11:00am “Executive Skills”
Most people are not natural business executives; these are skills that are either taught formally through higher education, but most often, they are learned through direct mentorship or watching other executives perform. Needless to say, not every business leader has an opportunity grow in these kinds of environments. But polished executive skills are paramount to a business leader’s success in the near-term and the long-term. This session discusses topics such as personal character, dress and appearance standards, written and verbal communication skills, as well as general business etiquette.
Registration for the full series is $200.00 per registrant and includes all four sessions.
