11/3/2025 Session 1: Entrepreneurship
In this class we will discuss the pros and cons of being an Entrepreneur and everything that comes with it! We will measure your readiness for starting a business and ways to get you to the starting point. During the session we will discuss goal setting strategies

11/6/2025 Session 2: Basics of Marketing
Do you know who your core customers are? Are you pricing your products appropriately? What sets you apart from your competitors? In this session we will discuss how to find the answers to all of these questions and more.

11/10/2025: Session 3- Promoting Your Business
This session will cover two very important factors in marketing your business; branding and an online presence. We will start by discussing how to create a solid brand for your business. We will also cover all of the aspects to consider in your online presence including your website, your social media, review sites, and more!

11/13/2025 Session 4: Business Plans & The Business Model Canvas
This session will teach you what it takes to write a great business plan that lenders will approve and help you to make valuable business decisions. Finally, you will discover the business model canvas- a one page strategic roadmap to get a business off the ground.

11/17/2025 Session 5: Understanding Your Financial Picture
In this session we will cover everything finance for your business. From the basics of expenses to funding fundamentals to understanding financial statements and bookkeeping. If it includes money coming in or going out of your business, we’ll cover it.

11/20/2025 Session 6: Real World Advice from Small Business Owners
This is your opportunity to hear origin stories from real small business owners in our community and ask for their advice. They have been in your shoes and would love to share their advice and wisdom. This will also include time for your questions and answers to the entrepreneurs and SBDC advisors.

What's included

3 Hour Zoom Webinar from 6pm-9pm each Monday and Thursday for three consecutive weeks. After each webinar you will be sent the link to the recording, even if you don't attend it live.
