Event description
The Department of Defense (DOD) Mentor-Protégé Program is the oldest continuously operating federal mentor-protégé program in existence. Established as a pilot program in 1990, its purpose was to help small business concerns expand their footprint in the defense industrial base by providing incentives to large DOD contractors who assisted eligible companies. In 2023, the program was made a permanent program by the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
Attendees will learn about the DOD Mentor-Protégé Program's goals, benefits, eligibility requirements and how to apply.
Presenter: Lynn Louis, Procurement Consultant, Kentucky APEX Accelerator. NOTE: Login instructions will be sent the morning of the event.
