Event description

As a small business owner, it is important that you understand what taxes are required to be paid and when they are due. This two-hour workshop will give you an overview of business income taxes, estimated taxes, franchise taxes, payroll taxes and property taxes. We’ll talk about expenses you can deduct, how your business structure determines if you are considered an employee or not, and steps to take at year end to be ready for your tax preparer. Jess McLamb, president of Goldston Consulting Group began her accounting and consulting business over 30 years ago. Since that time, she has trained thousands of entrepreneurs across the state how to start, market and manage their business.

Funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
