This eight-week program is a comprehensive initiative designed to support small business owners entering the government and corporate contracting arenas. Because contracting can be complex and overwhelming, SCOPE equips entrepreneurs with the knowledge, tools, and structured guidance needed to navigate the process with confidence. The program addresses common challenges small businesses face, offering practical, actionable strategies to avoid pitfalls and strengthen organizational readiness. By the end of the program, participants will have a deeper understanding of procurement processes and be better positioned for sustainable growth. SCOPE embodies its mission—from education to executed contracts—empowering small businesses to compete, deliver, and succeed in the contracting world.

An overview of the essential documents, required certifications, support resources, and key systems involved in the contracting process.
02/04 – Introduction to Contracting
Covers the essential agreements, business asset protection, and the fundamentals of understanding RFPs.
02/11 – B2B Contracting
Discussing corporate veil protection, required licensing, proposal development, and building a strong business portfolio.
02/18 – Marketing
Focusing on effective marketing materials, essential networking strategies, and developing strong business systems.
02/25 – Insurance and Lending
Addressing key financial topics, including insurance, lending options, and tax obligations.
03/04 – Sales Pitch Presentation
