FARGO – Capital Credit Union was recently presented with a 2016 Director’s Award from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) North Dakota District Office, as one of the top SBA lenders in North Dakota. Capital Credit Union closed 21 SBA loans, totaling $2.12 million in the past year.
Capital Credit Union was recognized as a top SBA lender in North Dakota for the third consecutive year.
“Once again, we are pleased to present this award to Capital Credit Union,” said SBA North Dakota Deputy District Director Alan Haut. “We are grateful for Capital Credit Union’s continued participation with SBA in supporting the growth and expansion of the small businesses in the communities they serve.”
In the last three years, Capital Credit Union closed 62 SBA loans, providing more than $4.6 million to small businesses in 15 communities.
Deb Kantrud, SBA lender relations specialist said 2017 should also be a good year for small businesses seeking SBA-guaranteed loans.
The SBA has continued its waiver of the guaranty fee for all loans up to $150,000” Kantrud said. “Also, SBA continues to offer special programs for veterans to eliminate guaranty fees on Express loans up to $350,000, and reduce guaranty fees by 50 percent for veterans on all SBA loan programs.”
