WASHINGTON – In the wake of severe storms and tornadoes, a collaborative effort is underway to support survivors with resources. The Disaster Recovery Resource Fair, scheduled for Sep. 4, will aim to provide critical resources and assistance to those affected by the disaster on April 2-24.
The event, organized by the Small Business Administration, Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience (ODR&R) in partnership with local stakeholders, agencies, and support organizations, will offer a comprehensive range of services to aid those in need. Attendees will have access to informational one-on-one counseling, resource booths, application assistance, status updates, and much more.
Admission is free and open to all surrounding areas, families and businesses seeking support during this challenging time.

Applicants may also call SBA’s Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955 or email disastercustomerservice@sba.gov for more information on SBA disaster assistance. For people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability, please dial 7-1-1 to access telecommunications relay services.
The SBA disaster loan grace period allows borrowers to apply for federal assistance beyond the original deadline. Currently, the SBA has implemented a 60-day grace period for physical damage loan applications, which is applicable for those affected by recent disasters.
The deadline to return economic injury applications is March 19, 2026.
