Join the Nebraska Enterprise Fund and BMO for the Small Business Workshop. A hybrid series focused on small businesses and their finances. Learn about business planning, credit financial statements and more!

Developing a Business Plan: Familiarize yourself with the eight parts of a business plan and what to consider when writing a business plan. At the end of the workshop, you will have a blueprint or first draft of a business plan.

Topics & Dates:

  • March 13th - Developing a Business Plan: Familiarize yourself with the eight parts of a business plan and what to consider when writing a business plan. At the end  of the workshop, you will have a blueprint or first draft of a business plan.
  • April 10th – How Businesses Obtain Credit: Learn the value of credit worthiness and how to maintain a good business credit score. Discover the documents necessary to make a successful application for a business loan.
  • May 8th – How Businesses Use Credit: Identify the types of c credit available to your business such as lines of credit, credit cards and loans, as well as financing options from the Small Business Administration.
  • June 12th – Small Business Financial Statements: Learn the three most important financial documents: balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports. By the end, you will be able to prepare or work with a professional to prepare these documents.
  • July 10th – Small Business Banking Services: Discover the variety of banking services and products available, especially for small businesses.
  • August 14th – Small Businesses and Financial Emergencies: Learn about the types  of financial emergencies that can occur and how these emergencies can impact a business.
  • September 11th – How Businesses Use Credit: Discover the types of credit available to a small business owner, such as lines of credit, credit cards, term loans and financing options from the Small Business Administration.
