This Act mandates that most business owners (including most small business owners) file a Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) Report with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), a division of the Treasury Department, by January 1st, 2025 (for entities existing prior to January 1, 2024) or within 90 days of formation for new entities established during 2024.
