Event description

The BTB-Reboot curriculum provides assistance to those interested in exploring business ownership or other self-employment opportunities by leading participants through the key steps for evaluating business concepts and providing foundational knowledge required to develop a business plan. Participants are introduced to a broad spectrum of entrepreneurial business concepts and resources available to access start-up capital, technical assistance, contracting opportunities, and more.

Our Boots to Business-Reboot (B2BR) classes are offered on Wednesdays in a virtual format from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm;( Pacific Standard Time) TWO MODULES ARE TAUGHT PER WEEK.

MODULE 7: FINANCING YOUR VENTURE

OBJECTIVE: Understand what types of financing are available for your business. Understand the difference between debt & equity financing. Explore what lenders and investors look for when deciding whether to finance your business.

MODULE 8: RESOURCES TO SUPPORT YOUR EFFORTS

OBJECTIVE: Understand the resources available through the SBA, VA, and other resource partners positioned to provide future training and support of the participant's efforts to launch and grow a sustainable business venture.
