Event description

Have you wondered if your worker should be an employee or an independent contractor?  Did you know that there are laws that determine how your worker should be classified?

In this webinar, conducted by attorney Wendy Estela, you will learn what every business owner must know to comply with these laws.  The rules in place for classifying employees vs. independent contractors are often misunderstood, but we’re here to help you protect your business from this risk.

You will learn:

  • The determining factors if a worker is an employee or a contractor
  • How to interpret the Three-Part Test (the “ABC Test”)
  • Steps to take when hiring a worker
  • Answers to your questions about how to implement this guidance for your business

Don’t delay learning about this important topic.  Whether you are already employing workers, or considering hiring your first one, all business owners need to ensure they are classifying their workers in accordance with the law.  Register today!
