This training is designed to help small and medium sized businesses understand the legal risks associated with human resources and how to mitigate those risks. The training will cover topics such as discrimination, wage and hour laws, wrongful termination, compliance issues, and employee safety, providing practical solutions and strategies to avoid common pitfalls.

Erin Eilers is the founder and principal consultant of Eilers HR Group, a fractional HR firm that helps small and midsize businesses navigate compliance, culture, and growth with confidence. With more than 25 years of HR leadership experience and a Master of Science in Employment Law, Erin blends deep legal knowledge with practical, people-first solutions.

A longtime SCORE partner and presenter, Erin is known for making complex HR topics clear, actionable, and (dare we say) even enjoyable. She specializes in employment law compliance, handbooks, HR audits, and strategic advising for companies ready to build better workplaces without unnecessary bureaucracy.

When she’s not demystifying HR, Erin serves on several local nonprofit and business boards and leads events that connect and strengthen Florida’s Space Coast business community.
