Facilitated by the U.S. Department of Labor Wage & Hour Division, this training covers which hours minors can work, what jobs are permitted, and which occupations have been declared hazardous. There will be a review of best practices for employers who hire minors. In addition, OSHA will review the employer’s responsibility to provide a safe and healthy workplace to young and teen workers, and the rights youth workers have on the job.
Participants can ask questions using the Q&A feature with a real time response.
