When disasters such as hurricanes, floods, or other emergencies occur, government agencies must act quickly to purchase critical goods and services. The question is: Is your business ready to respond? This beginner-level session will explain how disaster-related purchasing works at the federal, state, and local levels in plain language. You’ll learn how to register and qualify for emergency contracting opportunities, why it’s important to be procurement-ready before a disaster happens, and what steps you can take now to prepare.

The session will also highlight how the VI APEX Accelerator can help your business build readiness, including guidance on Doing Business with FEMA and VITEMA. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.
